| This is not a
"Good Church Guide" to Liverpool. If you're looking for a local
church to join then I can say from experience that the best approach is to
do some research, compile a list of potential churches, and then visit
them always listening for God to tell you which one He knows is best for
you. There are many churches with whom we have close fellowship through the organisation "Together For the Harvest". You can also get pointers by visiting Gladstones Bookshop and Cafe in Slater Street off Bold Street, or Wesley Owen Christian Books outside St John's Precinct near the Liverpool Football Club shop. This is a simple list of those Merseyside churches who are Christian Fellowships that gather as part of the "New Life" Summer Conference held at Rora House, Liverton in South Devon. I've added other churches who join us at the New Year Conference held most recently at the Christian Fellowship School on Overbury Street, Edge Hill. I've then added as many as I can remember of the Fellowships from throughout the UK who attend the Summer Conference. There are many from other countries whom we receive at the Summer Conference but it may be best not to mention them by name as they are often subject to political and religious persecution. Some of the Fellowships hire venues for meetings and these can change. The best way to find out places and times is to contact them via me (email) or getting in touch with Gladstone's. |
